      By qwcdirect | August 4, 2010

Palau Islands with their clear blue sparkling waters and virgin beaches are a great haven for tourists. However, they haven’t still been commercialized thus retaining their original charm. These beautiful islands can be reached via Taipei and are famous for scuba diving and the marine life exploration activities.

The Palau islands are famous for their 1500 odd species of fishes. They also boast about having the largest coral reefs in the world after the Australian Gold Coast. The archipelago which is made up of 340 islands offers breathtaking sights into marine life.

The Tketau Lake is famous for millions of jellyfish that will not sting. You can enjoy the view of schools of barracudas, silver swordfish and sharks too. Shark hunting is banned in this part of the world in an effort to preserve the dangerous but magnificent creatures. Another place worth visiting is the Milky Wav cove famous for white volcanic mud with healing properties.
