Less number of people, even the opera fans are less acquainted with the city of Seville which is better known as the city of opera and the capital city of Andalucia in Spain. But again it would be highly unjustified to ignore the city of Seville that is enriched with legendary and vivacious opera houses. It is for the reason of the great operas held in the city, that negligence would be considered highly unfair.

The famous French Opera of Carmen by Bisset saw its foundation in this city wherein one would find the gypsy who gave her name to the opera, offering her services in a factory of tobacco. She meets Don Jose in the same factory and kills a woman whom he used to love when brimmed up with jealousy.

On the other hand Carmen is not the sole opera story played in Seville. Other two great operas which are held in the city from time to time are Figaro and Don Giovanni. “Figaro is a famous opera about a loyal servant who struggles to his fullest for stealing away his fiancée from his master whereas “Don Giovanni” rests upon the story of “El Burlador De Sevilla”.
