Located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, Agra is about 200 km from the capital of India. The word Taj is synonymous to the city of Agra. You cannot imagine Agra without the splendor and the beauty of Taj. Taj, one of the wonders of the world is what defines the city if Agra.</p>
<p>Taj Mahal was made in the 17th century by the Mughal Shah Jahan in memory of his beautiful wife, Mumtaj Mahal. History has it that it took the emperor 20 years to complete one of the greatest marvels of that time. Close to 20,000 workers worked day in and out to create this majestic structure.</p>
<p>The best time to visit the city of Agra is in the winter from October to March.</p>

It was a project undertaken by the Kuala Lumpur City Centre or KLCC and is said to be a modern world wonder.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Architecture:</strong></span></p>
<p>They are 452 meters tall (1,483f), have 88 stories, and were completed in 1998. They remained the tallest buildings in the world till October 2003 when they were beaten by the Taipei 101. Together the two towers give a floor space of 1,000,000 m2. The architecture has a lot of Islamic influence with the building mainly being a concrete, steel and glass marvel.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Tourist attraction:</strong></span></p>
<p>The 41st and 42nd levels of the buildings are connected by a sky bridge 170m/558f above the ground. The sky bridge is open to all visitors, but free passes are given out on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors can only visit the 41st floor. The 42nd floor is restricted only be to the tenants of the building. PETRONAS, the national oil-company is the main resident of this building. Also in the same complex as the towers are Suria KLCC, a shopping mall, and Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, the home of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.</p>

<p>It was the world’s biggest football stadium at the time of its inauguration. The official attendance count for the final match between Brazil and Uruguay stood at 199,854; which is a world record.</p>
<p>It has been selected to host the world cup final in the 2014 world cup, and also as the site for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2016 Olympic Games.</p>
<p>Although this stadium is open of tourists, the best time to see this stadium is during an actual match.</p>

<p>The KSC visitor complex has museums, stimulating space rides, IMAX theatres and bus tours to have a look around the area. A person above the age of 12 years will be charged $38 as the admission charge. The base admission includes a bus tour to the observation gantry and to the Apollo Statum V centre.</p>
<p>The observation gantry allows a visitor to see the launch pads and the rest of Kennedy Space Centre property. The Apollo centre is a massive museum where Saturn V launch vehicle is displayed other than Apollo capsule and space innovations.</p>
