nullWell known for being both an archaeological adventure and one of Greece’s most modern towns, Delphi has a very special place in every European tourist’s heart.

Being home to the Oracle of Apollo, Delphi is said to be the meeting point of the two eagles set loose by Zeus in different directions. After this legend, Delphi is house to the Temple of Apollo. The temple has a large number of statues and treasuries. Just outside the temple, made in black marble is the Altar of Chains which was the primary altar for sanctuary during the reign of Chios.

Other than these, there is the Stoa of the Athenians which were constructed from singular stone pieces and laid in seven fluted columns. The Catalian Spring received water from a couple of major fountains in Phaedriades.
Apart from these are the Polygonal Wall, the Gymnasium, the stadium and the theatre which are major tourist spots.
